Published Date: 08-16-2006 12:48 PM CT
They come from near and far, but all for the same reason. To help out area families who need a new home. For the next two weeks, this group of habitat workers called "Car a Vanners" are in North Mankato. They're helping to construct the latest habitat for humanity home on Fairbanks drive. They help from every step of the home building process, including siding, roofing, and interior construction. No caption available. This group of volunteer helpers is from Illinois, California and Florida. In all, care a Vanners will help build over 175 new habitat homes across the United States.
