School Bus Accident Update

The Redwood County sheriff's department is turning over its investigation of a bus accident that injured a little boy and the driver is not being cited. Six-year-old Zachary Thooft of rural Lucan was hit after he got off the bus Monday. His mother found him lying in his driveway about 30 minutes later. The investigation showed neither the driver, nor the students noticed the accident. Zachary was taken to North Memorial Medical Center and is scheduled to be released by tomorrow.
