US Launches Relief Mission In Myanmar

The US is going ahead with plans to launch a relief mission in Myanmar Secretary of Defense Robert Gates says the US military is moving ships and aircraft into place to deliver supplies in the aftermath of a devastating cyclone. Three navy ships are headed toward the Southeast Asian nation, ready to give support should the Burmese Government allow it. Tens of thousand are believed dead in the cyclone, which tore through Burma last weekend. Thousands more are still missing.
