Farm Bill Conference Complete

In other ag news tonight: Details of the House-Senate Farm Bill comprise emerge today...The 300 billion dollar Farm Bill would boost the agriculture department's food and farm programs. It would also allow married farmers with joint incomes of up to $1.5 million a year to qualify for crop subsidies. However, Agriculture Secretary Ed Schafer says President Bush will likely veto the bill. The House and Senate will consider the bill next week.
