A recent study is focusing on potential problems for Minnesota's ag economy.Minnesota 20 - 20, a St. Paul think tank that focuses on rural and economic issues, is warning that the agriculture community may see a farm recession in the near future. Matt Entenza says, ''Farmers have never done better in modern history than they're doing now, but prices are going up so fast and land values are going up so fast it's almost guaranteed in the next two years we're going to see a downturn and probably a sharp downturn. ''The study gives farmers recommendations on how to avoid a farm crisis including: Avoiding debt, using state programs designed to assist farmers and organizing a study of the current market.
