The high price of oil... is cleaning out the wallets of drivers at the pump...Here's Claire Leka with today's money watch report.125 dollar a barrel oil.Crude surged in Europe this morning topping 125 dollars a barrel for the first time on supply worries and the weak u-s dollar. Crude oil has spiked about 10% this week and its up 30% so far this year.That's causing sticker shock for drivers at the pump.Triple A reports the national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline rose more than two and a half cents today cents to 3-67 breaking the record set yesterday.French cosmetics giant LancĂ´me is suing actress Uma Thurman.It's a contract dispute over the use of her name and image in an ad campaign.LancĂ´me says the actress is demanding $1 million for unauthorized use of her image on Canadian billboards and Asian web sites after her contract expired. LancĂ´me claims their two year contract with Thurman signed back in 2000 relieves the company of responsibility if third parties use her name and face after the contract lapses..And mother's day is Sunday so today is the second day of a three-day rush for floral delivery companies to get their flowers delivered on time.The national retail federation says it expects people to spend slightly less on mom this year - an average of $138 dollars and 63 cents.Record high gas prices have consumers watching their wallets.That's your money watch, log on to CBS news dot com for more, in New York I'm Claire Leka.
