3rd Annual United Way Bike Rally

It was a beautiful day to get out and enjoy the weather.Many people did just that at the Bike and Ride Rally in St. Peter.Today the United Way held their third annual Bike and Ride Rally fundraiser.The event is a carnival type atmosphere with face painting, riding bikes, mechanical safety checks and a bike helmet sale.All the funds raised today go to the United Way which supports 16 local organizations.Organizers say they're thankful for all the volunteers that came out and helped make today a success."This year we just got so much help, I think we've done it 3 years and people realize it's a fun one to do and so we got a lot of support from our 16 agencies."Organizers say planning this event takes about a year, but is always fun to do.
