Pickup Driver Charged in Hit and Run

A pickup truck driver is now charged with critically injuring an 11 - year - old bicyclist in a hit and run in Shakopee.40 - year - old Randal Hennes is accused of driving while intoxicated, criminal vehicular injury and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.Police say Nicholas Hagadorn was riding his bicycle around 8:30 Monday night when he was struck.The complaint says a Shakopee police officer saw a pickup drive away from the scene.The driver was stopped about six miles away.Hagadorn was listed in critical condition at HCMC last night.
