The Republican National Convention wrapped up in St. Paul last night.That means local Red Cross workers who were on standby to assist at the convention are now able to send their services elsewhere.The Red Cross Branch here in Mankato today is sending workers to Louisiana to provide support in the aftermath of Gustav.But while they're sending support to Louisiana, the Red Cross says they need support themselves.Bob Meyer from the South Central Minnesota Branch of the Red Cross says, ''The problem with all this is we're talking huge amounts of money, and we haven't seen anything like this since Katrina several years ago. And to be very honest, the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund is empty, literally empty.''
