Mankato's 'Timothy House' Opens to Help Hospital Patients in Need

Sheriff Tim Brennan did his work in Brown County, but now a house named for him will help people in Mankato.The Timothy House had its Grand Opening today at 2405 East Main with a ribbon cutting ceremony from the Mankato Chamber of Commerce.Brennan's widow Sharon owns the house and now will rent it to people with medical needs to be close to Immanuel Saint Joseph's hospital.The Timothy House founder Sharon Brennan says, "I'm so excited about doing this, and I had thought the other day, if Tim would have lived, I think I still would have done this, because it really helped us when we were going though his chemo and stuff."Sharon Brennan also would like to establish a non-profit organization to set up a trust fund to help those that need assistance to pay their rent.
