Captain Rich Murry with the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Department tells News 12/Fox Mankato that one woman was pulled from the pond just before 8:30 Monday evening.   A search for a possible second victim was called off after the woman's husband was found alive and well at a Mankato hotel.

Residents heard the woman’s cries for help and were able to pull her from the water.

The woman was transferred to ISJ. Captain Murry says the woman was sedated, and has not been able to give authorities any information.

However, items were found on the beach which indicate that there were two people in the water.

Authorities searched the water and perimeter of the pond until 11 P.M., when they called off the search for the night.
