MSU Mankato is one of the leaders in alternative fuel research. Now the university has been chosen to host the first ever International Bioenergy Days conference held in the United States, welcoming combustion technology companies from across Europe.Sofia Wretler says, ''They are here to show their products and see the interest for their products here - what the demand is and hopefully find partners to collaborate with. Those products are commercial boilers that run on biomass.Sweden has already adopted the bioheat technology and they feel it would be beneficial to the US. ((10))It's good for in Sweden we have a lot of wood and we don't have so much oil - so we are burning the wood instead and I think it's a good way for the U.S. to adopt that because it's run by wood and it's good for the environmental and it's half price of oil.The conference starts this Sunday at MSU.Anyone interested in attending can visit www.keyc dot tv and click on featured links.
