A Mountain Lake man is being held in the Cottonwood Country Jail for 1st degree attempted murder. The Cottonwood County Attorney's Offices says it happened October 2nd. They allege Bounthong Inthaxay hired a man to help him fix the transmission on his car... Inthaxay was allegedly upset about the job being done... and hit the man multiple times in the head with the handle off a two-ton jack. The victim was taken to the Hospital... and then airlifted to Sioux Falls, South Dakota... where he remains in very critical condition. Inthaxay is being held on 100 thousand dollar bail, his next court appearance is October 13th.
