Al Franken Stops in North Mankato

There are only 17 days until election day, and Al Franken was in North Mankato to pump up supporters.Franken made one of his three stops of the day at Christy's Caf.The restaurant was near capacity to welcome the Senate candidate.Franken signed autographs and posed for pictures, addressing the crowd with his message.Democratic senate nominee Al Franken says, "The middle-class is the engine of our economy and there are a lot of things we need to do, and I laid out a number of them today, to turn this around. We've driven in one direction all the way to the cliff. We need to turn around and drive back."Franken left North Mankato traveling to Owatonna, and ending his trip in Dodge Center.
