Shiites March Against U.S In Sadr City

Thousands rally in Baghdad against a u-s-Iraqi security pact...Leaders of both countries face a December 31st deadline to agree on the deal.It would replace the expiring United Nations mandate authorizing U.S. forces in Iraq.Shiite clerics have called Iraqi's parliament to reject the deal.The draft calls for U.S. troops be withdrawn by the end of 2011 and hand over limited authority over U.S soldiers who commit crimes to Iraq.U.S. congressional approval is not required for the pact to take effect.The bush administration is still trying to build maximum political support.
