The Minnesota Farm Bureau is honoring two members of Congress for their support of the ag industry.Congressman Tim Walz and Congressman Collin Peterson stopping by the Paap Farm today...Farmers and Farm Bureau officials honored the Congressmen for their work on the Farm Bill and other important votes in support of agriculture.Kevin Paap says, "It gives us a chance to acknowledge them on the good job they have done in the past, but it's also kind of a way to remind them that we are watching, that we are keeping track of how they vote."Congressman Peterson is the Agriculture Committee Chairman and a sixth year recipient of the award.Rep. Collin Peterson says, "Agriculture's not a partisan issue it's more of an issue of supporting the industry, the way of life and so forth... so it's not hard to line up with the Farm Bureau in terms of what we support."Tonight on the Fox Mankato News at Nine we'll hear from the other recipient of the award, Congressman Tim Walz.
