Washington Report Warns the World of Potential Terrorist Attack

A report out of Washington warns the world can expect a terrorist attack involving nuclear or biological weapons within the next five years.Fox's Shannon Bream is in Washington with the latest. The new report suggests an attack using biological or nuclear weapons is more likely than not to hit within just five years. The news comes on the heels of coordinated terrorist attacks in India that left more than 170 people dead...and roughly 300 more injured.Following a six month investigation - a bi-partisan commission presented the startling report to congressional leaders and top officials in the Obama administration."We believe there are steps that can be taken that will reduce our vulnerability, but, we must move urgently and decisively in order to reduce those levels of probability of attack."The commission recommends the obama administration ramp up efforts to prepare for chemical warfare....And warns biological weapons are now more likely to be used than nuclear - because nuclear facilities more are closely guarded than civilian laboratories with potentially dangerous bacteria or viruses. The ones we're most worried about today are anthrax, the ones that we would be worried about over the next five years would be a broadening array. And the threat of a nuclear weapon getting into the wrong hands is also growing."We have 13 recommendations in this report. From international treaties and working with the international community and strengthening the international atomic energy agency and it's staff and it's mission; to trying to make sure our own government works effectively."Pakistan is singled out as a hot bed for activity ...The report states if one were to map terrorism and weapons of mass destruction today...All roads would intersect in Pakistan. In Washington, Shannon bream, fox news.
