A house in St. Peter suffers a heavy amount of damage after catching fire this evening.The Saint Peter Fire Department responded to the 800 block of North Washington just before 6:30 tonight...When fire crews arrived on scene, the house was consumed in smoke...Fire officials tell us a couple was home at the time the fire started but did get out of the house safely.Fire officials say preliminary investigations indicate the fire may have been electrical in nature.The investigation continues.
