A late night house fire in Winthrop, Minnesota has left one dead and another injured.  Rescue crews arrived at the home of Doug and Deb Hanson at 11:23pm Friday (12/12) and continued fighting the blaze until 6:30am Saturday (12/13).

Residents and Neighbors say Deb Hanson, a teacher at Gibbon Fairfax Winthrop schools died in the fire, her husband Doug, an employee at the Winthrop News is being treated at a hospital in Minneapolis. His condition is unknown at this time.

Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
