State officials say they're expanding the hours Minnesotans can apply for unemployment insurance online.The Minnesota department of employment and economic development will have the self-service system on the internet open the next four Sundays.Those seeking unemployment benefits will be able to apply between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. starting tomorrow Dec. 28Officials say the state's unemployment insurance program is busier than normal in part because of the economic downturn.
