WILLMAR, MINN. (AP) _ Two Minnesota men are dead after a head-on collision on a county road south of Danvers in western Minnesota.
Swift County Sheriff Scott Mattison identifies the men as 70-year-old Dale Ehrenberg of rural Milan and 47-year-old Michael Kotzer, Sr., of rural Benson.
Mattison says the preliminary investigation indicates the pickup truck driven by Ehrenberg crossed the centerline on County Road 17 and hit the pickup driven by Kotzer.
Emergency crews had to extricate both men from their damaged trucks Wednesday afternoon.
Kotzer was dead at the scene.
Ehrenberg died at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
There were no passengers in either truck.
The State Patrol is assisting the Sheriff's office in the investigation.
Danvers is the about 30 miles west of Willmar.
