Winter may seem like just yesterday... but fire season seems to be getting an early start...Counties are raising the red flag over fire dangers... and crews are already responding to calls...Crews in Amboy were kept busy this afternoon on a farmyard fire outside town. It happened at a farm site on 542nd Avenue in between Amboy and Vernon Center. The Amboy fire department responded and quickly controlled the blaze. Some farm equipment was in the grove at the time of the fire but appeared undamaged.
