The Police chief of Gaylord is now charged with two gross misdemeanors in an alleged ``bugging'' scheme.Police Chief Dale Lee Roiger is accused of having one of his officers secretly plant a digital recorder to see if city council members were meeting illegally at the chamber of commerce office.It allegedly happened in July 2007, when the council was considering contracting with the Sibley County Sheriff's Office for police services.Roiger is charged with misconduct of a public officer and illegal interception of communications.
