Call it an airlift rescue... for ducks. Concerned people at an Oregon assisted living facility organized the sortof airlift, of sorts, for a group of stranded ducklings. The mother duck picked the wrong place to have her babies. Their new home was inside a courtyard of the Summerville Estates assisted living center in King City, Oregon. The problem is, after they are born, the ducklings need to get to water. So volunteers grabbed nets, boxes, and pet carriers to lift the ducklings out of the courtyard, then set them free.
