Mary Larson says, "It's kind of fun it you can dress up a little bit and make it fun."The post office has stamps for sale of the entire family and Postmaster Mary Larson says some people are jumping at the chance to have the loveable cartoon characters on their outgoing mail. Larson says, "I had somebody come in this morning that her son is a Simpson's fun and it was his birthday today and so pretty neat to have a special cancellation on his birthday on the Simpson's." Max Jensen says, "..."Yvonne Kittelson says, "I think it is cool its from the same town as Springfield but no I do not watch the Simpson's and I would not buy the stamp." Roger Vaske says, "I think it's great... Roger Vaske who watches the show periodically for a good laugh says he will buy the new stamps. Vaske says, "I like variety in the stamps and I think the postal service does a good job." And those stamps are available starting today. The postmark was a one-day deal. However, you can still get the special postmark by mailing envelopes to the Springfield postmaster. That special postmark is available for the next 30 days. The Simpson stamp costs 44 cents. Don't forget regular stamps increase to 44 cents on Monday as well.
