A man is airlifted to St. Paul this afternoon after an accident in Le Sueur County. The accident happened near the intersection of Highway 22 and County Road 101 before 3:00 this afternoon. According to Minnesota State Patrol the man had medical related problems that caused him to drive off the road and into a tree. The first medics on scene used a defibrillator to revive the man until a helicopter was able to arrive. The man was transported to St. Paul. The extent of his injuries is unknown.
