The town of Lewisville is recovering from another blow today... after a fire burned down three buildings last night. And today... word that one person is being investigated in connection to the fire. It took 14 departments in all to gain control of the blaze... Lewisville Fire Chief Andy Grier says nearly all of them were on the scene within 10 minutes. After battling dangerous flames and blustery winds, neighboring crews were sent home early this morning...Lewisville's department stayed on the scene until noon today. Chief Grier says three firefighters were treated for smoke inhalation, but after the town's 2nd major fire this year, Lewisville will be feeling the aftermath for quite a while. Chief Grier says, "For a small town that doesn't have a lot of major fires, it's devastating, but you deal with it, and move on and go forward." All three buildings were vacant, including an old restaurant and an office. The Watonwan County Sheriff's Department has a juvenile in custody in connection with the fire. The investigation is ongoing.
