A home in Lake Crystal will need a little more work after a fire today.Fire Chief Jeff Becker says it happened around 11 a-m when residents at 231 South Lincoln were trying to peel paint from their house with a heat gun which ignited a fire inside the wall. The Lake Crystal Fire Department used a thermal imaging camera to detect hot spots and stop the spread.Becker says this is the way they like to leave a scene.Becker says, "We like to see a lot of saved buildings instead of ruins. We got it this time, we got it stopped."Becker says the fire damage was contained to the outside with some water inside on the insulation.
