St. Peter is hosting its first "Ambassadors Blues Festival" this weekend at Minnesota Square Park. The festival features 7 musicians and groups, and 9 performances and is sponsored by the St. Peter Ambassadors. It's a group of local business owners who organize events to draw attention to the town. John Mayer says "There's been a lot of work put in by the St. Peter Ambassadors. All those guys who put that work in are down here right now and they look like they got smiles on their face and everything seems to be going in the right direction. And it's nice to see a lot of people working hard and seeing a project come together and have everything work out, so it looks like we'll probably end up doing it again." The music began last night at the Red Men Club and will continue until 9 o'clock tonight. Admission is free.
