ST. PAUL, MINN. (AP) _ A Vadnais Heights teen faces charges in what authorities say was a gang-related fatal shooting last week.
The Ramsey County Attorney's office charged 18-year-old Marquez Daiveon Storey on Tuesday with second-degree murder and committing a crime for the benefit of a gang.
He’s being sought on an arrest warrant.
The criminal complaint said the victim, 18-year-old Dionte Ramone Montantes of St. Paul, was shot in the head last Friday afternoon just after leaving a recreation center.
The complaint said Storey and fellow gang members went driving near the center, where Storey and another person got out of the vehicle and approached Montantes.
Witnesses said Storey shot him.
