A Nashville, Tennessee based music group with a single currently on the country charts makes a stop in North Mankato this afternoon... The group "TelluRide" stopped in at Country 103.5 to perform an acoustic show today. The band released its debut album "Four Square Miles" last year. This summer... they've been traveling around the country, spreading the word about their music.''Pretty much, we're doing it the old school way. That's kind of how we've done our whole gamut of things, even when we started playing live. We didn't wait for anybody to give a handout. We just hit the road.''The group has been together since 2006 and they've opened for artists such as Lonestar and Billy Ray Cyrus. They recently released their first single, "Pencil Marks."
