Jobless Rate Rises To 9.5 Percent

President Obama is expressing disappointment over the latest employment numbers.The government says employers cut 467,000 jobs last month, raising the jobless rate to 9.5 percent. That's a higher cut than expected. The president says too many families are worried about ``whether they will be next.''President Obama says, 'While there are continuing signs the recession is slowing. This is little comfort to millions of Americans who have lost their jobs.'The dour report on job losses sent stocks sharply lower. The Dow Jones industrials finished more than 200 points lower.The S & P 500 is down 26 and the Nasdaq is down 49.
