His family is finalizing plans for a public memorial. Tickets will be free - but limited. As Karen Brown reports those who don't want to miss it have started converging at Staples Center.Fans of the King of Pop are already starting to line-up for tickets to his memorial.Brian Henderson says, "We all want to be there to support Michael and his family"Michael Jackson's family plans a public service Tuesday at the Staples Center in Downtown L-A.It's the same space Jackson was using just last week to rehearse for his comeback shows.Now the concert promoter is helping the family put the service together.Randy Phillips says, "WE'RE HERE TO EXECUTE THEIR VISION, THIS THEIR TIME, THIS IS ABOUT THAT FAMILY"The Staples Center only holds about 20-thousand people.. and fans wishing to pay their respects will have access to 11-thousand free tickets.Just how those free tickets will be distributed - is still being worked out.Brian Henderson says, "SO FAR WE HAVE HEARD NOTHING BUT RUMOR, BUT WE'RE HERE TO COVER ALL OUR BASES JUST IN CASE."Karen Brown says, "Police expect as many as 100-thousand people to flood this area. They'll be working over the holiday weekend to figure out crowd control."Behind the scenes.. a tug-of-war may be brewing over custody of Jackson's children. His ex-wife Debbie Rowe.. and mother of the two oldest children.. is considering whether she wants to raise them.Jackson asked in his will that his mother Katherine get guardianship of all three kids.. but under California law Rowe is first in-line for any biological children.Stuart Beckerman says, "I'D REALLY BE SURPRISED IF SHE STIRRED THE POT AND CREATED A REAL FUROR BECAUSE THAT FUROR WOULD ULTIMATELY HAVE AN IMPACT ON THE CHILDREN AND I DON'T THINK SHE WANTS TO SEE THAT HAPPEN"A custody hearing is set for July 13th.
