Lots of questions and few answers tonight.One person is dead in a police officer involved shooting this afternoon.Witnesses are speaking out about the incident today but authorities are staying mum.News 12's Carly Aplin joins us live in the newsroom with more.Authorities say around 4 this afternoon shots were fired at an apartment complex in Kasota...The Le Sueur County Sheriff is confirming the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating a shooting involving a plain-clothes officer with the sheriff's department.Caption.Family members identified that victim as 24 - year - old Tyler Heilman.Several witness say they heard shots fired...One woman Joleen Manderfield says she heard a verbal altercation, and when she came outside, saw the officer shoot Tyler several times, before he fell to the ground.That's when she says she tried to keep Tyler alive.
