The Bird Island Police Department is investigating after reports that man at the Renville County fair allegedly attempted to grab a child from behind a stage and followed some children around the fairgrounds.The police department says the incidents were reported to have happened early Friday evening.They say authorities from across the area assisted in the search for the individual, but he was not located.He's described as a tall white male, in his late 20s or 30s with brown hair pulled into a ponytail.He was wearing jeans, a t - shirt, black boots and a black trench coat.Anyone with information is asked to call the Bird Island Police Department at 320 - 365 - 4101.Or the Renville County Sheriff's Department at 320 - 523 - 1161.
