GRAND RAPIDS, MINN. (AP) A former conservation officer with the Department of Natural Resources has pleaded guilty and been sentenced to five years of supervised probation for felony drug possession.
Forty-seven-year-old Brian Patrick Buria of Bigfork was arrested in February after investigators found valium, steroids, marijuana and oxycodone in a search of his home.
The DNR subsequently fired him.
Conditions of the probation include 45 days of electronic monitoring and $1,135 in fines. Buria also must undergo a chemical dependency evaluation and abstain from alcohol and controlled substances.
