Names Released In Motorcycle Accident South Of Mapleton

We now know the names of the two people sent to the hospital today after a motorcycle accident south of Mapleton.The Minnesota State Patrol says a motorcycle rear-ended a truck that was slowing to turn off of Highway 22 onto County Road 29 around 3:30.Authorities say the two people on the motorcycle ended up under the truck.The State Patrol says, 45 year old Robert Cornwell was driving the motorcycle and not wearing a helmet.He was airlifted to ISJ with non-life threatening injuries.His wife Karen Cornwell was the passenger and was wearing a helmet.No word on her condition.Both of them are from Minnesota Lake.The driver of the pickup and his passenger were not injured.
