Police Chase Ends In One-Vehicle Rollover, Teen Now Facing Charges

A Madison Lake teen is facing charges after a brief police chase ends in a one-vehicle rollover.It happened just before 10 o'clock last night when a deputy clocked a vehicle going 114 miles per hour on Blue Earth County Road 12.Authorities say the deputy chased the vehicle east on 12, taking a few turns before heading east on County Road 26.When the deputy turned onto 26, he found the vehicle upside down in a ditch with the driver lying next to it.The driver, a 17 year-old male, wasn't injured and was taken to the juvenile detention faculty in new Ulm.He faces charges of fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle, careless driving and speeding.
