Having your name in the record books is every hunter's dream.Being the youngest Minnesotan to drop a bull-moose - that's legendary.12-year-old Kelly Holmin of Nicollet did just that last week Tuesday, picking off the eleven hundred pound animal from 75 yards away.Kelly Holmin says, "He was running when I shot again, and all of a sudden he just collapsed, and was just like ORRRRR - Which means I got him."Kelly's father, who was with her on the hunting trip along Gunflint Trail, near Grand Marais, works as a taxidermist.He plans for Kelly's moose to serve as the centerpiece in his new shop.We'll have more on Kelly's big haul later on the Fox Mankato News at Nine and News 12 at Ten.
