An assault early yesterday evening leaves a Mankato man facing several charges.Mankato Police say Charson Anderson was arguing with a female...The argument escalated, and Anderson allegedly grabbed her shirt, twisted it and began choking her.The female tried calling 9-1-1, but says Anderson took the phone away from her.Anderson was no longer at the residence when police arrived but was found and arrested shortly after.Anderson faces felony charges for second degree assault and domestic assault by strangulation, and a gross misdemeanor for interfering with a 9-1-1 call.
