18 Year-Old Elected Mayor of Dawson, Iowa

In the Junk Drawer tonight: One Iowa man is getting an early start in politics...Voters in the Dallas County town of Dawson have chosen 18-year-old Colton Morman as their mayor.Morman's grandfather is stepping down as Dawson's mayor and Morman figures being the next mayor might be good experience for a future career in law.But mostly he just wants to help people.Morman says, 'The Mayor's job, I just want to do something to give back. I've been here all my life.'Morman won Tuesday's election with 29 votes or 53.7 percent.He defeated Jeffrey Anspaugh who had 21 votes or 38.8 percent.
