Closing arguments are expected Friday in the fraud trial of Minnesota businessman Tom Petters.Defense attorney Jon Hopeman says he expects to rest his case early tomorrow.Petters has continued to insist that he was not responsible for a Ponzi scheme carried out at petters company incorporated... and has pointed the finger at other associates.During cross examnination today, prosecutor Joe Dixon alleged that Petters' desire to live the life of a captain of industry is behind the Ponzi scheme that cost investors $3.65 billion.Petters took offense at that suggestion.
