And finally this midday: A family hoping to help a turkey have a better life this Thanksgiving.Lyndsey Medeiros and her husband are trying to raise money to get him cataract surgery.The turkey, dubbed as "Jerry" has been living with them for the past week, in a barn they built for other animals they rescue.The Medeiros family adopted Jerry from another farm and soon discovered that the 3-year-old had trouble seeing.The surgery will cost about 2600 dollars.Medeiros put an ad on Craigslist for help and so far, has received 500 dollars in donations.
