The Montgomery-Lonsdale School District is hoping to pass a twenty-nine point seven million dollar referendum tomorrow night. The referendum would take advantage of two federal stimulus plans only available until December 31st.It would convert the elementary school into a high school building and would cover building upgrades like the heating and cooling system currently run by the original 1936 boiler.Corey Lunn says, "We think that would be a good plan, a great plan, an efficient plan and last us for a long time."If completed with the stimulus plans, the levy could potentially save taxpayers in the area ten and a half million dollars in construction costs.
