An Iowa man pleads in connection with a recently cracked cold case in New Ulm.55 year old Wayne LeRoy Everett of Mason City Iowa, pleaded guilty to third degree criminal sexual conduct and first degree burglary in Brown County Court on Tuesday.According to court documents, Everett broke into a New Ulm Woman's home and sexually assaulted her back in October of 1989.The crime was considered a cold case for nearly two decades... until 2008... when Everett's DNA was added to a database when he registered as a sex offender.Sentencing is set for January 4th.
