A Gaylord man is arrested... for failing to register as a sex offender.33 Year old Romeo Alba was arrested on December 2nd after reports he was acting suspiciously at a local business.According to the criminal complaint ... A background check alerted police that Alba was a convicted sex offender in Texas and had failed to register in Minnesota.Alba says he's been living in the state since July 2009.He's facing 5 years in jail and a 10 thousand dollar fine or both.An omnibus hearing is set for December 17th in Sibley County.
