The winter weather could be a boon to area ice anglers...Due to the threat of winter-kill, the DNR is lifting bag limits on Lake Dora and Lake Pepin in Le Sueur County. The lakes were chosen because they're shallow. That makes them more vulnerable to a drop in oxygen brought on by snow and frigid temperatures blocking sunlight. The DNR say allowing the unlimited harvest for licensed anglers will keep the fish from going to waste.Fish in lakes can only be caught with spears, gillnets, or angling.
