Bald Eagle Nursed Back to Health at U of M

A bald eagle returns to the wild thanks to a biker and the University of Minnesota.Last summer, Brian Baladez came across an injured bald eagle in Wisconsin.Baladez was able to capture the bird and took it to the University of Minnesota raptor center in Duluth.Turns out the bird suffered from a fractured wing and got very sick from lead poisoning.Scientists outfitted him with satellite transmitter so the raptor center can learn more about migration habits.
