After being elected three times by residents of Waseca County, Sheriff Tim Dann will be stepping down at the end of the year.This will be the twelfth and final year for Sheriff Dann, who has spent 27 years in law enforcement, including positions with the Janesville and Waseca Police Departments before joining the Waseca County Sheriff's Department.He says whoever takes over will find a great organization in place.Sheriff Tim Dann says, "We have an outstanding staff here - fellow workers - we all work well together. That part's kind of hard because there's some really good people working. Whoever becomes sheriff will have a good group to work with."Dann expects to retire in November of this year, and looks forward to spending time with Barb, his wife of 34 years... along with his children... and grandchildren.
