Two Lake Crystal gas stations have fallen victim to a confusing scam...Now police are asking for your help in identifying the suspects.This is surveillance from Kevin's Market in Lake Crystal...Police say the suspect seen here in a black hat and jacket scammed the cashier using a 'quick change scam'...That's where the customer buys a small item with a large bill, then tries to buy the bill back... in the process they take out more money... confusing the cashier.The same happened at Collis 'C' Store right down the road... Here is the second suspect in white hat and shirt...Police say this woman used the same scam to get money from the store.With the exchange of currency they do it so quickly, they know what they're doing, they end up getting more money in their pocket than what the cashier meant to give them.Police say both stores could be missing hundreds of dollars.If you have any information you're asked to call the Lake Crystal Police Department at 507-726-2056.
